"A nymphaeum or nymphaion (Greek: νυμφαίον), in ancient Greece and Rome, was a monument consecrated to the nymphs, especially those of springs.
The Nymphaeum is a virtual simulation of a mythological order, a parlor room, to host such presence. Simulation of what once used to be a thriving space, and lifestyle, Now completely neglected and decaying, and turning into a tangible reality, a memorial piece for the future.
The Nymphaeum is an ever changing installation work, hosted at the Townhouse Gallery in Cairo, Egypt.
